The crafty Californian home of mother-of-two, Amy Hanson, is full of handpainted canvasses, stacks of books as display pedestals, and inviting messages created from old wooden blocks and paper bunting. Hanging lengths of ribbon act as a room divider; whilst collections of vintage dolls and knitting needles become their own art installations. The ‘Growing Jewelry’ collection from Icelandic product designer, Hafsteinn Juliusson, is “designed for people in metropolitan cities and is an experiment in drawing nature toward man”. Combining silver with living moss, the green-fingered rings are available to buy from €150.
