    Age: 24
    Location: Little Rock, Arizona

Style Icons: Of course I adore everyone’s favorites (Alexa Chung, Zooey D., Kirsten), but I think most of what influences my style has more to do with someone’s perspective than their actual outfit. I guess my two favorites there are Ellen Von Unwerth and Leith Clark. They both deliver such playful and romantic energy, Ellen with her videos and Leith with her magazine, that I often find myself dressing as a character in their worlds.
How would you describe your style:
My style is girlie and vintage with quirky touches, usually inspired by a story or character from my childhood. I’ve got a serious love for light and romantic Southern dresses, trench coats (in every color), and playful 60’s minis, and I’m a bit obsessive compulsive when it comes to matching my accessories.

    What inspires you?
My inspiration is constantly changing with the seasons and with age, but right now I’m really into art history. I enjoy the visual timelines I get everytime I go to class, and I love seeing all the things the came before us. I’m inspired by short films, music, photographs, words, pretty much anything that can evoke a feeling. I guess the one thing I enjoy most and am constantly inspired by is other peoples’ stories. There’s something about the human connection and tales from the past that make me feel free and allow my imagination to roam.

Your favorite item in your wardrobe?
I think the best piece I have in my closet is a 1950’s sailor dress I picked up at a local vintage shop last summer for $50. I’m usually pretty cheap, but this dress was so incredibly rare and one of the best sailor dresses I’d ever seen that I swooped it up without even thinking twice. I only got to wear it two times before the summer ended, so I’ve been looking forward to warmer temperatures so I can finally give it the attention it deserves.

How would you describe your blog?
I use my blog as a visual diary of my life. I don’t restrict it to just fashion and trends, instead I try to incorporate things from my historic town and other experiences I’m going through in my life – thoughts, feelings, aspirations – usually expressed in the form of pictures. If I’m known for one thing it’s my thriftstore obsession, and I always enjoy sharing different thriftstore and estate sale tips. Uncovering the world of blogging was the best thing I’ve ever done. It’s forced me to get creative and productive and has allowed me to discover a world of friends and a whole new me.

    Local Shopping Secrets:
I’ve got a few hometown favorites that actually influenced my vintage style in its early stages, and luckily, some of them have Etsy stores.

Magpie & Birdie (always has the best vintage pieces some with handsewn details and others that have been completely reconstructed)
Lakey Kristian (the most beautiful handmade flapper headpieces)
