A fashion school drop-out who is now a creative writing student, Katy has been crafting her own DIY fashion since she was allowed to use big-girl scissors. She wants to write books eventually, but a career as the next (edgier) Martha Stewart would be just fine. She isn’t against selling out if big money deals are involved. A child of the DIY movement of the nineties which saw everyone and their dog making their own zines, Katy is inspired by the independent creative spirit of this new wave of DIY, and will share fresh, fashionable D.I.Y. tutorials on the N.E.E.T. Blog.

Renee Anne is a 22 year old artist/designer/illustrator who has a bit of an obsession with art, love, food and life. While her most prominent passion would have to be art, the internet has influenced her to be lover of so much more, in particular interior design, vintage clothing, and all things modern and retro. She does her best to be as eco-friendly as possible in everything she does, from how she operates at home, to how she runs her creative side of things. It seems to be human nature to ‘want things’, she just tries to make sure that those things are absolutely necessary, come from independent sources, and make her feel good too – of course! – and will share her finds as Art & Design Blogger.

Sarah is an up-and-coming fashion journalist with a passion for understanding and presenting creativity in design. Continually intrigued by designers who reinvent ideas and reuse old materials, she covers the eco-friendly perspective for the N.E.E.T. Blog.
A recent marketing graduate and future New Yorker, Sarah draws inspiration for her own style from vintage pieces, especially those possessing a delicate, pretty vibe with the occasional hint of bohemian. Her wardrobe staples include skinny jeans, big earrings, and vintage belts, but she is convinced that no one can have too many cropped cardis or little black dresses. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys meeting new people, getting lost in Anthropologie, baking cupcakes, and listening to vinyl records. She is currently working as an event coordinator, but stylishly backpacking across Europe and seeing as many places as possible is on her to-do list.

Designer and vintage collector, “Miss” James Kicinski is the sole buyer & lead stylist for Bleubird Vintage. With a background in fashion design and an obsession for vintage style, Bleubird was the perfect way for her to express herself while staying true to her love for the industry. She’s a single mommy of two and a hard worker bee. She spends most of her free time listening to her to-die-for vinyl collection, building forts with her kiddos and is currently working on a new vintage inspired knickers line which she hopes to debut to bleubirdvintage.com this fall. Meanwhile, she’ll share her love of vintage on the N.E.E.T. Blog.

Mallory McInnis is a girl of many interests: movies and Muppets, panini sandwiches and pumps, children’s books and chilled glasses of limeaid, vintage dresses and venturing through Europe… the list goes on and on. One of her biggest interests is the handmade world – an interest that developed in her earliest years as a result of living with her exceedingly crafty mother, making her a perfect Handmade Blogger.
